Lo scorso fine settimana si è svolta l’attesissima seconda edizione di CaveLand a Vicopisano, una festa che ha saputo conquistare grandi e piccini, con un successo di pubblico che ha superato ogni aspettativa. Oltre 200 persone hanno partecipato alla festa animando i vari angoli del centro storico interessati dall’evento, un numero che ha nettamente superato quello della prima edizione del 2022, affermando CaveLand come un appuntamento imperdibile nel panorama degli eventi speleologici e culturali con un occhio di riguardo ai bambini ed ai giovani.

L’atmosfera di gioia e coinvolgimento ha caratterizzato l’intero weekend, regalando momenti indimenticabili soprattutto ai più piccoli, che hanno avuto l’opportunità di avvicinarsi al mondo della speleologia attraverso attività ludiche e didattiche. Le famiglie sono state entusiaste dell’organizzazione e dell’ampia offerta di intrattenimento educativo. Il successo della manifestazione è stato reso possibile grazie all’impegno straordinario di numerosi volontari, dell’associazione culturale SpeleoFotoContest, ma non solo, il cui contributo è stato fondamentale per la buona riuscita dell’evento.

Un ringraziamento particolare va all’amministrazione comunale, che ha offerto non solo il patrocinio e un contributo economico, ma anche il totale supporto logistico, dimostrando grande sensibilità verso questo tipo di iniziative. Grazie anche alla Federazione Speleologica Toscana, alla Società Speleologica Italiana, al Gruppo Speleologico Archeologico Apuano CAI Massa, al Gruppo Speleologico Torrentistico Speolo di Fucecchio, al Rotary Club Cascina e Monte Pisano, alla Sezione Cascina Soci Unicoop Firenze, alla Didattica Toscana di Fornacette e a tutti gli altri sponsor che hanno reso possibile questo straordinario evento.

La quantità di energie investite per realizzare CaveLand è stata immensa, ma i risultati parlano da soli: il pubblico ha risposto con entusiasmo, e l’evento si è dimostrato un vero e proprio successo. Al momento è prematuro parlare di una terza edizione, ma con presupposti così promettenti, c’è sicuramente l’aspettativa di poter replicare – e magari migliorare – quanto fatto fino ad ora. CaveLand non è solo una festa, ma un modo per promuovere la cultura speleologica, sensibilizzare il pubblico e, perché no, far sognare nuove generazioni di esploratori.

Last weekend, the much-anticipated second edition of CaveLand took place in Vicopisano Italy, a festival that captivated both young and old, with an impressive turnout that exceeded all expectations. Over 200 people participated, filling the various corners of the historic center involved in the event, a number that far surpassed that of the first edition in 2022, solidifying CaveLand as an unmissable event in the landscape of speleological and cultural happenings, with particular attention to children and young people.

A Moment of Demonstrations and Experiments The entire weekend was characterized by an atmosphere of joy and engagement, creating unforgettable moments especially for the little ones, who had the opportunity to get closer to the world of speleology through fun and educational activities. Families were thrilled with the organization and the wide range of educational entertainment offered. The event’s success was made possible thanks to the extraordinary efforts of numerous volunteers, the cultural association SpeleoFotoContest, and others whose contributions were essential to the success of the event.

A special thanks goes to the municipal administration, which not only provided sponsorship and financial support but also full logistical assistance, demonstrating great sensitivity toward such initiatives. Thanks also to the Tuscan Speleological Federation, the Italian Speleological Society, the Speleological Archaeological Group Apuano CAI Massa, the Speleological Torrent Group Speolo of Fucecchio, the Rotary Club Cascina and Monte Pisano, the Cascina Section of Unicoop Florence members, Didattica Toscana of Fornacette, and all the other sponsors who made this extraordinary event possible.
