Il comitato organizzatore di SFC ha conferito a Giampietro Marchesi l’incarico di Presidente di giuria per la prossima edizione del contest.

Giampietro Marchesi pratica la speleologia dal 1977, nel 1982 fu tra i soci fondatori dell’Associazione Speleologica Bresciana di cui è l’attuale presidente.

Innumerevoli sono le pubblicazioni e le conferenze tenute in tutta Italia su temi inerenti “Il Mondo Sotterraneo”, “Acquiferi carsici”, “Storia della Speleologia”, “Iconografia delle grotte”, “Minerali e miniere della Valle Trompia”.

Tra i vari ruoli ricoperti negli anni vogliamo ricordare:

• Segretario della Società Speleologica Italiana dal 1988 al 2001.
• Proboviro della Società Speleologica Italiana dal 2002 al 2004.
• Presidente della Società Speleologica Italiana dal 2005 al 2013.
• Proboviro dell’Associazione Grotte Turistiche Italiane dal 2014.
• Dal 2014 è il Responsabile Scientifico dei corsi di formazione per guide di grotte turistiche organizzati da AGTI e SSI.
• Dal 1986 tiene la lezione “Speleogenesi e Speleopoiesi” e “Storia della Speleologia” ai corsi di primo livello della Scuola di Speleologia dell’Associazione Speleologica Bresciana.

A lui l’onore e l’onere di comporre la giuria che andrà a valutare le foto in concorso, a lui l’augurio di buon lavoro da parte di tutto il Comitato Organizzatore di SFC.

The organizing committee of SFC has appointed Giampietro Marchesi as President of the jury for the next edition of the contest.

Giampietro Marchesi has been practicing speleology since 1977, in 1982 he was one of the founding members of the Brescian Speleological Association of which he is the current president.

Countless are the publications and conferences held throughout Italy on topics related to “The Underground World”, “Karst aquifers”, “History of Speleology”, “Iconography of Caves”, “Minerals and mines of the Trompia Valley”.

Among the various roles held over the years, we would like to mention:

• Secretary of the Italian Speleological Society from 1988 to 2001.
• Arbitrator of the Italian Speleological Society from 2002 to 2004.
• President of the Italian Speleological Society from 2005 to 2013.
• Arbitrator of the Italian Tourist Caves Association since 2014.
• Since 2014, he has been the Scientific Manager of the training courses for tourist cave guides organized by AGTI and SSI.
• Since 1986 he has taught “Speleogenesis and Speleopoiesis” and “History of Speleology” at the first level courses of the School of Speleology of the Brescian Speleological Association

To him the honour and the burden of composing the jury that will evaluate the photos in competition, to him the wish of good work by the whole Organizing Committee of SFC.
