Con una
carriera di oltre 30 anni nella regia e nella fotografia d'avventura,
Keith Partridge continua a spingersi oltre i limiti della
televisione, del cinema e della produzione mediatica. Gli incarichi
lo hanno portato in alcuni degli ambienti più difficili del mondo,
da sistemi di grotte inesplorati nelle profondità della Papua Nuova
Guinea, alla vetta dell'Everest e dell'Antartide, alle prime
ascensioni di montagne e scogliere in Oman, Groenlandia e nel "Mondo
perduto" del Venezuela.
Altri
incarichi speleologici lo hanno portato in Vietnam, Slovenia,
Irlanda, Regno Unito e Venezuela.
Ha ricevuto un
"International EMMY for cinematography" ("Human
Planet", BBC), il Guild of Television Camera Professional's
"Award for Excellence" per le riprese di una spedizione
esplorativa in Venezuela e l'International Explorers Festival "Camera
Extreme Award" per il suo lavoro sul film vincitore del BAFTA
"Touching the Void". Nel 2019 ha ricevuto il "Grand
Prize" dall'International Alliance of Mountain Film.
Il suo lavoro
è stato trasmesso da BBC, Disney+, Nat. Geo,
Discovery, Channel 4, C5, ITV, Pathe Films e 20th Century Fox.

With a career in adventure filmmaking and photography spanning over 30 years, Keith Partridge continues to push the limits of television, cinema and media production. Assignments have taken him to some of the world’s harshest environments from uncharted cave systems deep in Papua New Guinea, the summit of Everest and Antarctica, to first ascents of mountains and cliffs in Oman, Greenland and the ‘Lost World’ of Venezuela.
Other caving assignments have taken him to Vietnam, Slovenia, Ireland, UK and Venezuela.
He has received an ‘International EMMY for cinematography’ (‘Human Planet’, BBC), the Guild of Television Camera Professional’s ‘Award for Excellence’ for the filming of an exploratory expedition in Venezuela and the International Explorers Festival ‘Camera Extreme Award’ for his work on the BAFTA winning ‘Touching the Void’. In 2019 he was awarded the ‘Grand Prize’ from the International Alliance of Mountain Film.
His work has been shown on the BBC, Disney+, Nat. Geo, Discovery, Channel 4, C5, ITV, Pathe Films, and 20th Century Fox. Written articles and photographs have appeared in many of the UK’s outdoor magazines and his book ‘The Adventure Game’, charting his filming experiences was published in June 2015 (Jury Award, Banff Mountain Film and Book Festival).
