Da poco più di una settimana sono state pubblicate sulla nostra pagina Facebook le foto in gara per l’imminente prossima edizione di SpeleoFotoContest, in questo breve lasso di tempo sono state più di 15.000 le visualizzazioni senza contare le condivisioni con commenti entusiastici da ogni parte del mondo. La Giuria, guidata dal presidente Giampietro Marchesi, sta già valutando attentamente i lavori presentati dai concorrenti che si contenderanno il “Premio Sentinella miglior foto SFC22” ed il premio speciale Memorial Marco Ottalevi consistente in un buono acquisto di 200€ messo in palio dalla Società Speleologica Italiana.
Ci fa particolarmente piacere l’interesse che il contest ha suscitato specialmente all’estero, e non possiamo non notare l’aumento dei paesi che sono rappresentati dalle foto in gara, difatti oltre a Germania ed Inghilterra, già presenti anche nella scorsa edizione, quest’anno abbiamo ricevuto adesioni anche dall’Ungheria e da Israele, a riprova di uno spiccato spirito di internazionalità di SFC. I numeri stessi del contest parlano chiaro, rispetto alla scorsa edizione sono aumentati sia il numero dei partecipanti che quello delle foto in gara con una maggior distribuzione anche per tipologia: grotte laviche, grotte nel sale ed artificiali. Tutto questo a conferma della validità del progetto, e per noi che organizziamo è un bel riconoscimento che ripaga dell’impegno e dei sacrifici.

Since a little more than a week, the photos in competition for the upcoming next edition of the SpeleoFotoContest have been published on our Facebook page, in this short period of time there have been more than 15,000 visualizations, not counting the shares with enthusiastic comments from all over the world. The Jury, led by President Giampietro Marchesi, is already carefully evaluating the works presented by the participants who will compete for the “Sentry Prize for the best SFC22 photo” and the special prize of the Marco Ottalevi Memorial consisting in a 200 euro voucher offered by the Italian Speleological Society.
We are particularly pleased with the interest that the contest has aroused especially abroad, and we cannot fail to notice the increase in the number of countries that are represented by the photos in the competition. In fact, in addition to Germany and England, already present in the last edition, this year we received applications from Hungary and Israel, demonstrating a strong spirit of internationality of SFC.
The numbers of the contest speak for themselves, compared to the last edition has increased both the number of participants and the number of photos in the competition with a greater distribution by type: lava caves, salt caves and artificial. All this confirms the validity of the project and for us that we organize is a nice recognition that repays the efforts and sacrifices.
